ENGINE
If anything defines the M6, it's this - the BMW Motorsports S38 engine. It's powerful, runs strong, sounds great, and
looks the part. Aside general maintanence, I've applied a number of upgrades and improvements to it.

COOLING SYSTEM
New parts include the radiator, water pump, radiator hoses, engine fan clutch and coolant reservoir
BMW recommended non-phosphorus anti-freeze is used.
A new heater valve was also installed.
BOTTOM END
A new oil pump was installed.
Synthetic oil is used.
The right motor mount was replaced.
TOP END
The valves were adjusted.
A new upper chain tensioner rail was installed.
A Euro spec intake camshaft was installed.
The Motorsport exhaust cam sprocket was installed to improve the mid-range.
Magnacor spark plug wires and new spark plugs were installed.
The valve cover an air plenum was refinshed with black wrinkle paint.
EXHAUST
The Euro spec M6 header was installed.
The output flanges on the header were modified to fit the stock USA center section.
The header is a work of art - especially after fresh ceramic coating. The primary pipes are bent from individual
tube sections without multiple weld joints - very impressive work.

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
The original restrictive airlow meter was replaced with a custom designed MAF system.
See details here. This improved throttle response
and power.
A new fuel filter was installed.
New O-rings were installed on the intake plenum.
A custom fresh air intake was made and a K&N filter installed.
