Hello, my name is Ron Jones and I am RONGINEER. Welcome to the website and I hope you enjoy seeing some of the interesting projects and vehicles I have worked on. I have
been fortunate to work with a range of companies from small to large corporations mainly in the OEM automotive and electric vehicle industries, and aftermarket performance industry.
I am a mechanical engineer with diversified experience in automotive engineering design and project management. My design experience includes engines, chassis and suspension,
brake systems, and electrical/wire harnesses. My development experience includes creating testing procedues and tools, test instrumentation, data analysis, and vehicle field testing.
In support of product development I am experienced in creating drawings and specifications, vendor sourcing and relations, and tooling design and development. I work primarily in Solidworks,
having grudingly given up my pencil and drafting board some time ago. 3D CAD is absolutely fantastic, and you can see examples of parts and products I've designed here.
I'm a "hands-on" engineer with experience in building and fabrication. You will
notice my project portfolio includes projects on some of my personal vehicles - see the Gallery.
My industry experience has given me the capability of developing products from concept to production.
In addition to product design and development services for industry, I offer a number of performance enhancing products for BMW vehicles.
