SUSPENSION
The Scorpion has straightforward strut suspensions front and rear which provides excellent handling.

FRONT SUSPENSION
Here's the front suspension completely rebuilt.
The shocks were rebuilt with new rod bushings, piston rings and seals.
New lowering springs and upper strut bushings were installed.
The brake calipers were rebuild and installed with new hardware, and braided brake lines installed.

Here's a layout of the new parts.
The tie rods and suspension arms are all new.

New control links bushings were installed.
The anti-roll bar and brackets were painted with corrosion resisting paint.
New hardware was installed throughout.

Eventually I installed the coilover suspension from Vick Autosport.
These greatly improved the ride
With the coilovers I was able to adjust the ride height to get a good stance and a little rake in the chassis

REAR SUSPENSION
The rear was renewed by installing new KYB struts and upper strut mounts.
New lowering springs were installed.

The control arms were cleaned and painted with corrosion resisting paint.
The wheel bearings, tie rods and bushings were not in need of replacement.
The anti-roll bar and brackets were painted with corrosion resisiting paint.
New hardware was installed throughout.

Here is the Vick Autosport coilover installed at the rear.

HALF SHAFTS
In the process of renewing the rear suspension, the half shafts were cleaned and installed with new hardware.
